A Place for Kole
Ya Gotta Believe
Kole dreamed of playing baseball like his older brother, Chaz who played professionally with the Yankees before injuries ended his career, while Kade, his best friend and brother, played college ball in Arkansas. Since age four, Kole dedicated himself to baseball, sacrificing social events and family holidays. His efforts earned him a full scholarship to LSU-Eunice for fall 2024. After a tragic shooting on January 6, 2024, within 1 second Kole's life changed forever leaving him a quadriplegic-Shattering the life he had built.

Sadly, Kole never got to play his Senior year or take the graduation picture of doing the things he loved-baseball, fishing and hunting.
We Need Your Help
THE WHY: Urgent Need for Adaptation
Kole currently resides in the family's living room since his bedroom is too small to accommodate his power chair. He urgently needs numerous renovations to enhance his quality of life. Adapting his home to support his new reality as a quadriplegic is essential. The physical and emotional impact of this injury, particularly at such a young age, is something many of us may struggle to fully understand.
By offering Kole and his family a Home Renovation, we can significantly contribute to restoring his independence, privacy, and a sense of normalcy, which would be a crucial step in his physical and mental recovery.

When a family friend of Kole's contacted the foundation regarding his story, we were moved to discover that his brother Kade had sacrificed his college baseball career to return home and help care for Kole. It truly reminded us of the bond between Tug and Hank McGraw—something they absolutely do for one another. Kole's Place is a heartfelt project we can definitely rally our amazing community to lend a helping hand!
Brother's Always

A Family's Love
"My wish for Kole is to find his way around our home and feel a sense of belonging within our family. It pains me to see him feel like an outsider. I envision him joining us in the living room to watch TV and sharing meals at the table, giving him as much normalcy as we can. This journey is not just about his physical healing; it's about ensuring he lives with dignity, independence, and hope." - Tracy Hebert, Kole's Mom
