"Ya Gotta Believe"-- The Tug McGraw Foundation was established by Tug McGraw in 2003 to raise funds to enhance the quality of life of children and adults with brain tumors and their families by stimulating and facilitating research that addresses the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual impact of the disease. Funding will be directed to the Tug McGraw Research Center within the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University and to other research and medical institutions through a competitive grant program.Learn more

August 19, 2008-The Second Annual Sam Hetizenrater Memorial Night at the Races

August 19, 2008- TMF President to Speak at the 2008 Planned Giving Day Conference for the Planned Giving Council of Greater Philadelphia

On Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at the Union League in Philadelphia, PA, President and CEO of TMF will be the keynote speaker for Keeping the Dream Alive. The annual one day conference offers advanced, intermediate and fundamentals tracks for seasoned gift-planning professionals, attorneys and financial planners, as well for those just starting in planned giving. Attendees will expand their understanding of a broad range of topics including, Legacy Giving Building Blocks, The Art of the Ask, Bolder Giving in Extraordinary Times and The Fundamentals of Starting a Planned Giving Program.

August 4, 2008 - Bradmer initiates enrollment in Phase III GLASS-ART Trial in primary glioblastoma multiforme

TORONTO - July 23, 2008 - Bradmer Pharmaceuticals Inc. (TSX: BMR), a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to the development and commercialization of cancer therapies, today announced that it has initiated enrollment in the Phase III GLASS-ART Trial evaluating Neuradiab(TM), a monoclonal antibody conjugated to Iodine-131, as a front-line therapy for primary glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). The first patient was enrolled at the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University under direction of Dr. David Reardon as Principal Investigator.
