StyleSonic's Inaugural Stepping up to the Plate Series is a tournament dedicated to carry on Tug McGraw's legacy of enthusiasm and motivation, and his "Ya Gotta Believe" spirit for the game of baseball. Together with Nashville's Music City Fields and the Tug McGraw Foundation, the series will be a competitive tournament with emphasis on good sportsmanship, leadership and mentoring young athletes in making a difference in their communities.

Tug's son, Tim McGraw, the Foundation's Honorary Chairman, continues to support this very personal mission. TMF's efforts have already been recognized by national media including the Today Show, CNN, Country Music Television, Great American Country, and USA Today.

We anticipate to fill quickly- we encourage early registration!

Tournament Details:

• Friday, May 1 2009 thru Sunday, May 3 2009, Nashville, TN
• Tournament Chairs Nashville songwriter and performer Brad Warren and wife Michelle Warren
• Tournament Director Chris Mercado
• Teams play a minimum of 3 games
• No parking fee
• Gate Fee $8.00 Adults   Children Free under the age of 12
• 3 Day tournament pass $15.00 
• Family Day activities to include: inflatable jumper, face painting, photo booth and other activities to be announced
• Full service concession stand
• Special guests to be announced
• All games will be played with Major League Baseball balls
• Local umpires for all games
• All players receive a Tug McGraw swag bag filled with surprises 
• 1st and 2nd place team and individual awards
• “Ya Gotta Believe” Sportsmanship awards given per game
• “ TheTug McGraw Award” One player who demonstrates outstanding leadership will be awarded a Tug McGraw and Tim McGraw signed baseball

Items Required Prior to the Tournament:

• Team Insurance Certificate
• Birth certificates of every player on the roster (copies via fax or mail)
• Coaches Code of Conduct form
• Team Waiver Form
