The Plumstead Inn Beefs Up Dollars for Quality of Life Research

The Plumstead Inn on West State Street, Media, PA, held its annual beef 'n' beer fundraiser on Sunday, August 17th for the Tug McGraw Foundation and the Shoup Family.  The event, which raised $5000, drew local attendees including, Tug's son, Mark McGraw.  Locals were entertained by Philadelphia native singer/songwriter Skip Denenberg.  Dom Marra, manager of the Plumstead, said "our third annual event was a blast. Everyone had fun and opened their hearts and their wallets!"

Tug McGraw Foundation President Jennifer Brusstar said the total donated over the past three years has exceeded over $12,500-a number achieved by local families and retailers.

“We are grateful to the Plumstead Inn and their regulars who continue to support Tug's legacy and vision in improving the quality of life of others who are diagnosed with brain tumor," said Brusstar.
