"Ya Gotta Believe"-- The Tug McGraw Foundation was established by Tug McGraw in 2003 to raise funds to enhance the quality of life of children and adults with brain tumors and their families by stimulating and facilitating research that addresses the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual impact of the disease. Funding will be directed to the Tug McGraw Center for Neuro-Oncology Quality of Life Research at Duke University Medical Center and to other research and medical institutions through a competitive grant program. July 14, 2008 - Remembering Yankee Great, Bobby Murcer

New York Yankee broadcaster and former player, Bobby Murcer passed away this weekend from brain cancer.

"Bobby will always be remembered for his passion, strength, and ceaseless courage on and off the field. Our hearts and prayers go out to his wife Kay and their family," said country music singer, Tim McGraw.

"The Murcers supported the foundation in many ways. Bobby's passing is a loss for both baseball and our nation. He was a friend to many and a great citizen. It's been a privilege and honor to know him," Jennifer Brusstar, CEO and President TMF.

The Nemours Childhood Cancer Awareness & Education Symposium will examine both adult and childhood cancer medical research through lectures and discussions on advanced concepts and technologies for improving health care for children with cancer and their families.
